UpDownAircon creates downward draught in office buildings to mitigate Covid-19

StartupRealities No 162

UpDownAircon is an air conditioning systems designer which retrofits air conditioning exhaust pipes on the floor of office buildings to create a downward draught. The downward flow of air within rooms and offices resembles the air conditioning systems on planes where all fresh air is fed from above and is then recycled out from below the seats. The downward draught helps mitigate public health risks such as Covid-19 and reduces the need for social distancing.

CEO QUOTE
"We help the air you breathe out sink to the floor and leave the building. This is no big deal in normal times, but is essential in Covid times," explained UpDownAircon founder and CEO Upton Downton Airington.
