StartupRealities No 139

PrawnBurgers is an Asian fusion takeaway restaurant chain that prepares Asian-type food in a McDonald's-type format. The company makes burgers buns out of rice flour and instead of beef patty uses various prawn, fish, seafood and Beijing duck burger fillings.

CEO QUOTE
"Asian food has always been associated with eat-out-of-a-bowl dishes. This traditionally applies even to takeout and fast-food Asian restaurant chains. We are the first to ever offer the convenience of a McDonald's burger with the taste, flavour and ingredients of Asian cuisine," said PrawnBurgers founder and CEO Prairie Burgess.
