EnemiesOfThePast is a political consultancy which helps unrecognised non-state entities and liberation movements gain wider recognition by declaring war on defunct evil states or barbaric regimes of the past, for example Nazi Germany, the Khmer Rouge or Genghis Khan. Unrecognised micro-states such as #Liberland (located on a Danubian island between Serbia and Croatia) and bigger entities such as Somaliland synchronise their declaration of war on past regimes, such as Nazi Germany, to gain maximum public exposure.
