StoredInVacuum is a modular self-storage company with storage facilities that maintain vacuum in the storage units. This allows excellent preservation of documents and valuable items but also minimises the storage volume required. The company's storage units are not fixed but modular in size, with flexible stackable walls, so each customer takes up only as much physical volume as is the minimum necessary.

"Removing the air from a bag of clothes reduces the bag's volume several-fold. By pumping the air out, we can afford to be based at facilities with a much smaller footprint, for example in Manhattan and in the City of London," said company founder and CEO Stocker Vacanti said.
