Humamole produces patented hummus-guacamole spread

Humamole is a food company that has developed and patented a new spread composed of 50% hummus and 50% guacamole. The Humamole spread is heavier in texture and lighter in colour than guacamole, which appeals to vegan, vegetarian and health-conscious buyers. The key ingredients, chickpeas and avocado, account for 98% of the recipe; a selection of flavours account for the remaining 2%. Normally hummus requires adding olive oil but the high oil content of avocado makes any addition of oil unnecessary.
